How do I install an eSIM via a QR code on iOS?

Before you start, make sure your device:

• Supports eSIMs (see Do my devices support eSIM? or Check iPhone/iPad eSIM support).
• Is carrier unlocked.
• Has a stable internet connection (preferably Wi-Fi).

Where to find your QR code

1. Go to Dashboard > Orders.
2. Open your eSIM order.
3. Use the QR code from the order details or download the PDF.

Install via QR code

1. Open Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data).
2. Tap Add eSIM (or Add Cellular/Mobile Data Plan).
3. Tap Use QR Code.
4. Scan the QR code from another screen or use a saved image.
5. Tap Continue and follow the prompts.
6. Choose a label for your eSIM (for example, "Esibyte Travel").
7. Select your Primary line for calls and SMS.
8. Select your eSIM for Cellular/Mobile Data.
9. Keep Allow Cellular Data Switching off if you want to avoid roaming on your primary SIM.

Connect to mobile data

1. Open Settings > Cellular.
2. Tap your eSIM plan and turn the line on.
3. Enable Data Roaming if the instructions require it.
4. Confirm your eSIM is selected for mobile data.
